SAFETY PRESENTATIONS
Water training is required for a “B” license, but the specifics of that training are not defined by USPA. Don Moffett, the S&TA at Chicagoland Skydiving Center has assembled a solid water training program that begins with a PowerPoint presentation, and then moves to a lake or pool for the required immersion training. The PowerPoint presentation is ideal for a group training session in a conventional classroom. Alternatively students can view the program on their own, and instructors can use it as a guide for the actual water training. The presentation can be projected as a standard PowerPoint display, or the slides can be printed and reviewed outside of a classroom. Don Moffett has graciously provided this presentation for inclusion in The Ranch S&TA area so other drop zones, students, and instructors can benefit from the program.
